![]() I like interacting and sharing with people who come here, but at the end of the day, this is where I post about things I like and sort through my personal opinions about them. Heck, I’d already been backing off of posting in the fandom tags because I know that my takes can be super niche and appeal first and foremost to me, because…this is my blog. I have never intended to portray my opinions as facts, because I know full well they’re not: they’re opinions, based on my personal understanding of the facts I have available to me. And the last time I checked, every person who interacts with a piece of media will have their own unique read of it. I am – and I cannot stress this enough – a small-scale fandom blog and niche fanfiction writer, and to the best of my knowledge my only crime is…having a different read of a character and not liking them the same way someone else does. I can’t adequately express just how fucking creepy it is that someone is this level of obsessed with my opinions. Icons has a number of resources located around the internet. Since then, Ad Infinitum has released a couple more sourcebooks ( Icons A to Z and Icons Adversaries) and a number of adventures, including collecting artist and author Dan Houser’s Rise of the Phalanx into a “Giant Size Icons” book. I later parted ways with Adamant, kickstarted the Great Power sourcebook I’d been thinking about, and later published the Assembled Edition of the game under my own Ad Infinitum Adventures banner, printed and distributed by my friends at Green Ronin Publishing. Icons was first published by Adamant Entertainment. Later design incorporated concepts from Fate (more famous offspring of Fudge) and my experience designing for the d20-based Mutants & Masterminds. I designed Icons as a side-project some years ago, tinkering with the scale and mechanics of Fudge and similarities to the scale and named ability levels of Marvel Super-Heroes, although with some notions about randomly-generated superheroes as a springboard for players’ imaginations. Icons Superpowered Roleplaying is a tabletop game of superhero adventure, creating exciting stories of the imagination with friends, based around the heroes you create.
